A man was struck during a hit and run early Saturday morning when attempting to cross Arlington Boulevard in the Seven Corners-area of Falls Church police say. Fairfax County Police are reporting a male, in his late 20s or early 30s, was struck while attempting to cross Arlington Boulevard between Patrick Henry Drive and East Manchester Street at around 6:10 a.m. Saturday, March 6. Police believe he had been in the crosswalk when he was struck. He was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he is in life-threatening condition. Police are looking for the striking vehicle, which was traveling in the eastbound lanes and did not stop at the scene. The vehicle most likely has front end damage and, possibly, broken headlights, windshield and drivers side mirror.
