F.C.-Fairfax Water Trial Adjourned by Judge In Hopes for Out-of-Court Settlement Print E-mail
Thursday, February 04 2010 17:10

Fairfax Circuit Court Judge R. Terrence Ney today adjourned the second phase of the trial pitting the City of Falls Church against the Fairfax County Water Authority to permit the contesting parties an opportunity to settle their differences out of court. Attorneys for the two sides met in conference early today and agreed to seek the judge's postponement of the trial. Judge Ney gave the parties until March 1 to settle, with the trial scheduled to resume on that date if they cannot arrive at an agreement.
