A fourth substantial snow storm of the season, which experts are cautioning could be as big as the "Blizzard of '09" in December, is heading to the region this weekend, and City of Falls Church staff and crews spent today making plans and preparations, according to the City's Public Information director Barbara Gordon. She said that updates on all aspects of relevant information begin appearing on the City's web site (www.fallschurchva.gov) every morning, including during weekdays at 5:30 a.m. Recorded updates are also placed on answering machines at the Community Center (703-248-5077) and public library (703-248-5031). Announcements are also dispatched to the News-Press and available on its web site (www.fcnp.com) in a timely manner. In addition, this weekend, FCNP.com will have a constantly updated article thread where residents can receive City weather updates and information and also communicate with each other via its comment system.
