The City of Falls Church Police Department and members of the Falls Church Police Association are lending their support to the 2009 United States Marines Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots campaign. A collection box has been set up in the police department lobby, located on the G2 level in the East Wing of City Hall at 300 Park Ave in Falls Church. Donations of new unwrapped toys will be accepted through Dec. 11. City police officers will take the toys to a central distribution point in Quantico, where the donations will be given to children in need this holiday season. This is the eighth consecutive year the police department has participated in the Toys for Tots campaign. For more information, visit www.toysfortots.org or call the Police Department at 703-241-5053. |
