Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School's Timothy Gilmour endured strict auditions in December before being invited to participate in the All-District Honor Junior Band at Hayfield Secondary School last week. Gilmour, who plays the euphonium, was one of approximately 90 students who rehearsed Thursday night, all day Friday and Saturday morning before presenting a concert Saturday afternoon. |
