Disney-Mason 'Hope for Haiti' Benefit Hosted by Marshall High

George C. Marshall High School is hosting a benefit for the victims of the January earthquake in Haiti. "Hope for Haiti: We Are the World" will start at 7:30 p.m. today, March 18, in the school auditorium (7731 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church). The benefit will include dinner, dessert and a variety show staged by students. All proceeds will be donated to Haiti relief causes. For more information, call 703-714-5400.

NNcubscouts Falls Church Arts Hosts Plein-Air Demonstration

On Sunday, March 21 at 1:30 p.m. at ArtSpace (410 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church), Falls Church Arts (FCA) is holding a demonstration to show anyone interested how to paint outdoors. The fee, payable at the door, is $5 for members of FCA and $10 for non-members.

Local Businessmen Help Out Kids' Groups With Mulch Sales

Two prominent local business leaders are promoting the sale of mulch to raise funds for local children's groups. Phil Duncan of Civicatalyst Communications is assisting the George Mason High School Athletic Boosters with their mulch sale while Dr. Gordon Theisz of Family Medicine in Falls Church is helping Boy Scout Troop 895, chartered by the Falls Church Presbyterian Church, with theirs.
