The event is a drug and alcohol free option for students to celebrate graduation. Foundation Announces Grant AwardsThe Falls Church Education Foundation made three grant awards to support innovative programs at Thomas Jefferson Elementary school and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School. The Falls Church Education Foundation was established in 2003 to provide supplemental support for the city public schools. Ostomy Support Group OfferedThe Ostomy Support Group of Northern Virginia meets monthly at Inova Fairfax Hospital ( 3300 Gallows Rd, Falls Church). Budget Workshops OfferedProvidence District Supervisor Linda Smyth is hosting a Budget Workshop on Thursday, March 9 at Fairhill Elementary School ( 3001 Chichester Ln, Fairfax) from 7-8:30 p.m. Another workshop will be offered the following week on Senior Tax Relief. Panda Express Donates to National ZooTo celebrate Tai Shan, the National Zoo’s giant panda cub, Panda Express is hosting fundraisers at local restaurants. Each Wednesday in the month of March, 20% of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the zoo, with a goal of raising $25,000. Hope and Recovery Tour HeldPRS is hosting a Hope and Recovery Tour on March 9 at their Falls Church office ( 500 W.
