  • Destruction of Property, 800 blk. Lincoln Ave., between March 30, 7:30 a.m. and March 31, 8:13 a.m., unknown person(s) pulled up two landscape lights and cut the wires on them making them inoperative.

  • Larceny, Digital Imaging, 104 N. Oak St., between March 28, 8:00 a.m. and March 31, 8:24 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a Honda Generator from the front of a trailer that was parked in the parking lot of the business.

  • Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, Columbia Baptist Church, March 31, 10:29 a.m., unknown person(s) stole the fuel injectors from the engine of a 1996 Dodge Van.

  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, parking lot at the 1100 blk. of W. Broad St., March 31, 3:15 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a cell phone out the back seat of a vehicle.

  • Destruction of Property, 600 blk. Poplar Drive, between March 29, 10:00 p.m. and March 31, 3:31 p.m., unknown person(s) slashed two tires on a 2002 Cadillac Escalade.

  • Larceny from a Building, 400 blk. James Ct., between March 30, 6:00 p.m. and April 1, 7:03 p.m., unknown person(s) stole two bicycles that were on the back porch of a residence.

  • Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 200 blk. E. Fairfax St., between April 1, 6:00 p.m. and April 2, 6:28 p.m., unknown person(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole the stereo.

  • Burglary, Commercial, Y&G Associates, 900 S. Washington St., between April 2, 11:30 a.m. and April 3, 9:27 a.m., unknown person(s) punched a hole in the wall next to an office door to gain entry into the office. The business owner checked the office and found nothing missing but several desk drawers had been gone through.

  • Commercial Burglary/Aggravated Assault, Royal Prestige, 105 N. Virginia Ave., April 3, 11:26 a.m., an employee of the business entered the front door of the business and was confronted by a male subject who had a knife. The suspect stated to the man, “If you do anything, I’ll kill you”. The employee started to back out the door when the man ran past him and down the hall to a rear door. The suspect went out the back door and fled on foot. The employee was not hurt in the incident. Police were able to develop a suspect in this case and warrants are pending.

  • Fraud, False Pretenses, Eckerd Pharmacy, 1003 W. Broad St. , April 3, 3:30 p.m. , police arrested a female, 32, of Haymarket, VA for three counts of prescription fraud after she tried to pass the fraudulent prescriptions at Eckerd’s.
