Super Pet Expo

I once saw a dog stand on its hind legs and then bark out what sounded like “I love you” to its owner over and over. It was on Letterman’s “Stupid Human & Pet Tricks” and was a bizarre sight to say the least. Actually, it was down right creepy. There’s bound to me more freakish human & pet displays this weekend at the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center as Late Show reps will be on hand 11 a.m. Sunday to hold auditions for their show. Also, if Critter Corner isn’t getting your dog enough publicity, you can enter your pooch in the Milk-Bone Make Your Dog Famous Search for a chance at a picture on a box of dog biscuits. The Expo will feature hundreds of exhibitors displaying products, services and gifts for all types of pets. There’s special exhibits, demos, and seminars, a petting zoo for exotic animals— you can even catch a ride on a camel, pony or elephant. No pet? No problem! Local shelters and rescue leagues will have all kinds of animals available for adoption.
