Dvorak's Cello Concerto & New World Symphony,
National Philharmonic, Music Center at Strathmore,

Regulars know my affinity for Dvorak, and for Brahms who will be featured by the Philharmonic in a concert next month. Here's a chance to hear two of Dvorak's greatest works with a world-class cellist, Carter Brey from the New York Philharmonic, taking the lead. Both works were inspired by Dvorak's three-year stay in the U.S. It's also a chance to see the wonderful new venue, located in Rockville.
