March 1-7, 2005
  • Drug/Narcotic Violation, 400 blk. Park Ave., March 2, 1:36 p.m., incident to a traffic stop, police arrested male, 32 of Arlington, VA for possessing Marijuana, Cocaine and Methanphetamine. He was held without bond at the Arlington County Jail.
  • Larceny, 300 blk. N. Lee St., between August 31, 12:00 p.m. and March 3, 10:34 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a jewelry case from a residence with almost $20,000, worth of jewelry inside the case.
  • Destruction of Property, 100 blk. W. Marshall St., March 4, 7:11 a.m., an unidentified dump truck backed into a light pole causing damage to a Verizon telephone box that was attached to the pole.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft, 100 blk. Hillwood Ave., March 4, 8:11 p.m., the driver of a 2001 Mercury Marquis Taxicab went into a store to buy a lottery ticket and left the keys in the taxicab. When he came back out the cab was gone.
  • Drug/Narcotic Violation, 200 blk. Hillwood Ave., March 5, 3:15 a.m., incident to a traffic stop police arrested a male, 25, of Springfield, VA, for DUI, Refusal and possession of Marijuana.
  • Destruction of Property, Mary Riley Styles Library, 120 N. Virginia Ave., between March 5, 5:00 p.m. and March 6, 12:00 p.m., unknown person(s) broke a window by unknown means.
