Nationals Vs. Orioles Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Saturday, March. 5, 1 p.m. With the birth of the Nationals comes the first-ever meeting between these two regional rivals just as Spring Training is getting underway in sunny Florida. Because of the hordes of hedonistic college students (and high school pretenders) flocking south for spring break, there are none of the usual airline specials this weekend. So, you'll have to pay to get there, but it's worth it for the history and for the sunshine (since the forecast is for a miserable day in the D.C. area). Or, maybe you can just sit home and watch the game on TV, in which case you may see me, and other members of a crack News-Press investigational team, that will be on hand in shorts, sandals and sunscreen to give you a first-hand report in next week's edition.
