  • Larceny, Shoplifting, Giant Food, 1230 W. Broad St., Feb. 22, 2:59 p.m., a male subject entered the store and stole 6 packs of batteries from a display.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft, Koons Ford (Get Ready Lot), 410 Roosevelt Blvd., between Feb. 21, 9:00 a.m. and Feb. 23, 12:10 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a 1989 Mazda MX6 from the lot after it was left there for service.
  • Destruction of Property, 100 blk. Spring Ct., Feb. 23, 6:14 p.m., a resident reports that she had a flat tire and had to pull over at Spring Ct. It was discovered that the flat tire had been caused by unknown person(s) slashing it with a knife.
  • Larceny, Shoplifting, Giant Food, 1230 W. Broad St., Feb. 25, between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., police arrested a male, 41, of Washington D.C., for stealing over $200.00 of merchandise from the store.
  • Burglary, Residential, 500 blk. Roosevelt Blvd., between Feb. 24, (unknown time) and Feb. 26, 10:49 a.m., unknown person(s) pried open a sliding glass door to an apartment and once inside removed a mans' wedding ring and a wedding video.
  • Burglary, Commercial, Crescent Moon Limousine Service, 105 E. Annandale Rd. Feb. 26, 10:49 p.m., unknown person(s) pried open an office door, and once inside, removed several files pertaining to the business. The victim in this case is also the victim in the above residential burglary.
  • Larceny from a Building, Columbia Baptist Church, 103 W. Columbia St., Feb. 26, between 9:00 p.m. and 9:47 p.m., while attending a dinner play at the church, unknown person(s) removed cash from two purses that had been left unattended.
  • Larceny, Shoplifting, Giant Food, 1230 W. Broad St., Feb. 28, 1:31 p.m., police arrested a male, 48, of Washington D.C., for stealing over $170.00 worth of merchandise.
