Poker on the Potomac: Black Caribbean-Style Cruise
By Jody Fellows

If you can't afford to get to the Caribbean this weekend, bring the Caribbean to you with a ticket to the Poker on the Potomac: Black Tie Caribbean-Style Cruise on the Spirit of Washington. Spend three hours enjoying various forms of entertainment including a Nassau Casino and poker (both basic and Texas Hold 'Em). Even if you're a loser at the tables, you'll win big at the heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet. And feel free to wash it down with a cocktail at the open bar. For those who prefer wearing dancing shoes to a poker face you can enjoy tunes from a live Caribbean band, while a DJ will be spinning out Top 40 hits in addition to busting out some old school jams. Tickets will cost you $95 for this "creative black tie" event, but for three hours of gamblin', grindin', and gorging myself at the buffet … I'm all in.

What: Poker on the Potomac: Black Tie Caribbean Style Casino Cruise on the Spirit of Washington

Cost: $95

When: February 26, 8:30-12:00 a.m.

Where: Spirit of Washington
