It’s a Big East basketball battle this weekend in DC as the West Virginia Mountaineers take on the Georgetown Hoyas at the MCI Center on Saturday. In addition to the conference rivalry, it’s also an inter-office battle as the game features my alma mater, WVU, against FCNP sports-guru Mike Hume’s Hoyas. After starting off 10-0, my boys have gone 4-7 in their past 10 games, but with a “W” this Saturday, might have an outside shot at the tournament. (I stress the words, “might” and “outside.”) The guys from G-Town (15-6) have played a solid season thus far having already surpassed their win total from last year (13), and although their remaining schedule is tough, Mike is so confident in his Hoyas, he’s already penciled them into the Final Four in his bracket. (Just kidding.) Anyway, the game is gonna be a good one and there’s bound to be plenty of tickets available from the nice scalpers outside the arena. But, if you prefer the safe, legal and boring route, check out TicketMaster or something like that.
