Crime Report Ending February 7th


  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, 200 blk. Gordon Rd., Feb. 1, between, 1201 a.m. and 4:01 p.m., unknown person(s) entered a Volkswagen Fox and removed $6.00 from the ashtray.
  • Larceny, Shoplifting, Virginia ABC Store, 167 Hillwood Ave., Feb. 2, 11:02 a.m., a male subject entered the store and stole a bottle of rum and left without paying for it.
  • Credit Card Theft, 900 blk. Ellison St., between Aug. 1, 2004, 3:09 p.m. and Feb. 2, 3:09 p.m., a resident applied for a credit card that was to be mailed to them. They never received the card and suspect that it was stolen from the mail. The card had been used several times before it was cancelled.
  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, Curry's Auto Service, 105 Falls Ave., between Jan. 24, 12:01 a.m. and Feb. 3, 11:53 a.m., unknown person(s) stole two license plates off a 2001 Honda that was parked in the parking lot for service.
  • Burglary, Residential, 600 blk. Greenwich St., Feb. 6, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:50 a.m., unknown person(s) entered a residence through a side door and once inside, removed a woman's' wallet containing cash and credit cards.
  • Assault, Simple, Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St. Feb. 6, between 12:55 p.m. and 1:05 p.m., an adult male and female were assaulted by two other adult males after a basketball game got out of control.
