Crime Report Ending December 20th


  • Robbery, Eden Center (rear parking lot), 6763 Wilson Blvd., Dec. 14, between 9:05 p.m. and 9:13 p.m., a female employee exiting a rear door of the mall was confronted by a male subject described as Hispanic, 5'4" to 5'6", skinny, wearing an off white or gray colored sweatshirt, a light blue scarf around his head and dark pants. The subject said "Hold it right there - FBI". Another man who was with the victim asked the man for identification. At that point the subject pulled a dark colored semi-automatic pistol out of his sweatshirt pocket and told them "everyone stay right there". The subject then grabbed the female's purse and took off running through the rear parking lot towards Koons Body shop. A search of the area came up negative. The victim was not harmed in the robbery.
  • Possess False Identification, Stratford Motor Lodge, 300 W. Broad St., Dec. 17, 10:37 a.m., while police were responding to a call at the motel they arrested a male, 22, of Falls Church (county), for possessing a false INS Employment Card. He was released on a summons.
  • Destruction of Property, Eden Center (parking lot), 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., Dec. 17, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:40 p.m., unknown person(s) removed the right side mirror off of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma. The mirror was found resting on the hood of the vehicle.
  • Arson, 100 blk, Park Washington Ct., (parking lot), Dec. 18, 1:38 p.m., unknown person(s) set a trash bin on fire. The fire damaged two windows on an adjacent building due to the extreme heat of the fire. No injuries were reported.
  • Destruction of Property, 100 blk. Rolling Trace, between Dec. 18, 10:30 p.m. and Dec. 19, 10:24 a.m., unknown person(s) punctured all four tires on a 2004 Ford Escape that was parked on the street in front of the residence.
