Crime Report Ending December 13th
Larceny, Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., Dec. 8, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:19 p.m., unknown person(s) stole an unsecured BMX bicycle that was left in front of the Community Center.
Larceny, parking lot of 7-11, 110 N. West St., (Late September (not other dates or times given)) a woman who was caring for the victim removed two checks from the victim's checkbook and used them to pay a landlord in Fairfax County. The amount on the checks used was $1,500. The victim had also co-signed a loan for a car for the suspect and had agreed to make the first payment for her. It was later discovered that the suspect had kept making payments on the vehicle from the victim's account. Investigation continues.
Larceny, 100 blk. Chanel Terrace, between Aug. 14, 9:00 a.m. and Dec. 11, 9:26 a.m., a male subject who was a trusted friend of the victim allegedly stole several check's from the victim and cashed them for over $1,200. Investigation continues.
Assault, Simple, 900 blk. Ellison St., Dec. 13, 8:28 p.m., a man assaulted a woman after they got into an argument. The man fled the scene before police arrived.
Destruction of Property, 200 blk. Irving St, Dec. 13, between 3:30 p.m. and 9:48 p.m., unknown person(s) damaged some Christmas decorations and lights located in front of a residence.
