Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas."
Ford's Theatre
511 10th Street NW, Washington, D.C.
OK, it's December 9 and I've undertaken the annual ritual of putting up the Christmas tree for some dear friends in town, so we can officially pronounce this to now be Christmastime, and of course, Hanukkahtime. But what this means is that it's time to get you and the kids down to the Ford's Theatre for its annual production of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. It's always a treat, and always strikes the right tone of what matters most during this time of the year (or anytime of the year). Besides, it's only 90 minutes long with no intermission. Arrange tickets through www.fordstheatre.org. Enjoy.
