Crime Report Ending December 6th
Destruction of Property, Saigon USA, 6757 Wilson Blvd., Dec, 1, 11:33 p.m., unknown person(s) threw a beer bottle through the window of a business which caused the alarm to be set off. Witnesses stated that there had been a fight in front of the business and that was when the bottle was thrown. The suspects had fled the scene before the police arrived.
Larceny, Shoplifting, CVS, 1150 W. Broad St., Dec. 2, 5:36 p.m., police arrested a male, 34, of Reston, VA. for stealing a handful of Slim Jims.
Larceny, T.L. Seafood & Grocery, 315 S. Maple Ave., between Dec. 4, 7:00 p.m. and Dec. 5, 6:43 a.m., unknown person(s) cut a lock on a walk in cooler located at the rear of the business and removed over $1000 worth of food.
Destruction of Property, 400 blk. Timber Lane, Dec. 5, between 2:00 a.m. and 8:02 a.m., unknown person(s) damaged a 1998 Volvo station wagon by breaking the drivers side mirror and scratching the front quarter panel. The front storm door of the victims residence also had pry marks on it and believes that it was done at the same time.
Drug/Narcotic Violation, 6600 blk. Wilson Blvd., Dec. 6, 12:30 a.m., based on a look out for a stolen vehicle, driven by an Asian female, from Arlington County, The vehicle was spotted by a Falls Church Police Officer at the intersection of Wilson Blvd. and Roosevelt Blvd. The Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. An Arlington County Officer transported the owner of the vehicle to the scene. It was later determined that the vehicle had not been stolen. The vehicle was being driven by the owner's girlfriend who stated that he had let her take the vehicle. While on the scene, the Arlington Officer observed the owner of the veh-icle reach into his pocket and pull his hand out with a clenched fist. The Officer asked him what was in his hand and it was quickly determined that the pills in his hand were narcotics. The pills were field tested with a positive result for MDMA. Arrested was a male, 37, of Falls Church (county), VA.
