F.C. Housing Group to Meet

On Friday, Nov. 19, employees of the Falls Church-based Center for Multicultural Human Services (CMHS) show off their countries’ traditional The annual meeting of the Falls Church Housing Corporation will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Falls Church Community Center at 7:30 p.m. Speakers will include Conrad Egan, chief executive of the National Housing Conference and chair of the Fairfax County Housing and Community Development Commission and Keith Fleury, director of the Washington, D.C., Area Council of Governments' Office of Housing. Falls Church Schools' Human Resources Director Mitzi Frieberg will also be present, as well as a prominent local business owner to discuss “local employee housing” options. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

The Housing Corporation is the City of Falls Church’s leading advocate for affordable housing. It’s currently involved in an effort to win approval from the City for a 5-story senior housing building on West Broad Street.
