F.C. Grants $25,000 to Chamber Project
City Council awards 25,000 dollar grant to chamber of commerce
The Falls Church City Council awarded a $25,000 grant to the Greater Falls Church Chamber of Commerce with a unanimous vote Tuesday, praising a partnership that has developed between the Chamber and the City's economic development efforts. Chamber executive director Sally Cole described the Chamber's intended use of the grant, dedicated mostly to an upgrade and republication of a City Business Directory that would be available throughout the City. The funds will also go to an upgrade of the Chamber's web site, she said, which will include an interactive City map that anyone can use to locate a business or public site in the City. |
