Falls Church City Crime Report For September 28 - October 4, 2004

Larceny from a Building, Applebee’s, 127 E. Broad St., between Sept. 1, (unknown time) and Sept. 29, 2:32 p.m., an employee had her cell stolen from the restaurant between the above dates and times.

Larceny, 400 blk. Sherrow Ave, Oct. 2, between 4:45 p.m. and 5:13 p.m., unknown person(s) removed a political sign from the front yard of a residence.

Destruction of Property, 300 blk. Grove Ave., between Oct. 2, 9:00 p.m. and Oct. 3, 10:41 a.m., unknown person(s) tore a sign off a stake located in the yard of a residence.

Larceny, 400 blk. Great Falls St., between Oct. 2, 11:00 p.m. and Oct. 3, 2:49 p.m., unknown person(s) removed two political signs from the yard of a residence.

Larceny from a Building, 7-11, 804 S. Washington St., Oct. 4, 7:53 a.m., an employee noticed a male subject coming out from the employee’s area. The male left the store after he was challenged by the employee as to why he was in the employees area. The employee noticed that the male subjects jacket was bulky. After checking in the back the employee discovered that six cartons of cigarettes were missing. Police were called but the subject fled the area before they arrived.

Motor Vehicle Theft, Homestretch, 370 S. Washington St., between Oct. 1, 6:00 p.m. and Oct. 4, 9:09 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a 1994 Ford Van that was parked in the parking lot.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 500 blk. Roosevelt Blvd., between Oct. 3, 10:00 p.m. and Oct. 4, 3:49 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle from the parking lot.
