Nick Knack

This brown tabby, cleverly named Charlie Brown, sits comfortably in a chair in this picture, warm, dry and well-fed. Sadly though, such scenes of comfort were not always present in this cat’s past. It was found on December 14, 2003 alone in the cold winter weather, hungry and wet. The Gillsy-O’Rourke family took it in and nursed it back to full health, and it is now an important member of the family and even a Critter Corner star! If you have a cute pet or significant pet story, feel free to e-mail us at crittercorner@fcnp.com or send a picture and short description of your pet to The Falls Church News Press c/o Critter Corner, 929 W. Broad St., Suite 200, Falls Church, VA 22046.
