F.C.'s Anne Pogorzelski Dies at 90


On August 10, 2004 Anne V. Pogorzelski, 90 years old, passed away at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. She was a 25 year breast cancer survivor. Funeral arrangements are being mad with Murphy’s Funeral Home on Broad Street in Falls Church. Anne held various positions, including President of the Fifty Five Plus Club. Services will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Spring Street in Falls Church. The burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Long Island, NY. She is survived by her son, Paul and his wife Loretta, 3 grandchildren Grace, Robert and Joan, one great-granddaughter, Kat, one sister Jean Mead and her brother, Stanley Zielinski.
