Baltimore Orioles baseball, Camden Yards, Baltimore. 10-game home stand begins Tuesday, April 20.
OK, we're done with the Caps and the Wizards for the year, and D.C. United is not going to give Freddie Adu significant PT (playing time), so its time for some baseball! The home stand for the Orioles beginning Tuesday brings in Tampa Bay, Toronto and Ichiro and the Mariners.

With the new acquisitions – Javy Lopez, Miguel Tejada, Raphael Palmeiro and Sidney Ponson – joining the emerging young talent – Jay Gibbons, Larry Bigbie, Brian Roberts, Luis Matos and Jerry Hairston – and new manager Lee Mazelli, the team will be fun to watch.

Ah, for the winter and dready rains of the last days to be behind us. We froze on opening day April 4, but many sunny days and balmy nights at the yard lie ahead.
