Critter Corner

PERHAPS SHE'S JUST another bunny, one might think. Actually, this critter's (whose name is Fiona) story is far more revealing and spiritual. Fiona was found along Route 50 close to a year ago; she was most likely an abandoned Easter "present." In her new home, she's stolen the hearts of the Loewenthal family, who pamper her with meals of fresh dill and Belgian endive. In return, Fiona washes their hands and faces as thoroughly as her own. She also likes to help with e-mail and be a couch potato. Fiona would like to remind readers that rabbits are not low-maintenance animals or appropriate gifts for children. However, if properly kept, they live 8 to 12 years and are wonderful companions. They're also pretty darn cute. Wanna make your pet a star?
