Crime Report for Week Ending March 15


Larceny from a Building, Triad Promotion, 119 Rowell Ct., between Mar. 9, (Unknown time) and Mar. 10, 8:52 p.m., unknown person(s) removed a wallet from a purse that was left in an office.

Suspicious Circumstances, 200 blk. E. Fairfax St., Mar. 12, 3:36 a.m., a resident noticed a male subject removing the door mat from the lobby of the apartment building and take it out to a vehicle in the parking lot. He then returned to the lobby and removed several artificial plants and also placed them in his vehicle and drove away.

Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, parking lot at the 100 blk. Park Ave., Mar. 13, 12:55 a.m., unknown person(s) smashed out the passenger side window of a 2002 Mercury 2dr and removed a purse that had been left inside the vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 200 blk. E. Fairfax St., (parking lot), between Mar. 12, 7:30 p.m. and Mar. 13, 11:38 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a 1999 Acura Integra from a parking space.

Weapon Law Offense, 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., Mar. 13, 3:10 p.m., incident to a traffic offense stop police arrested a male, 22, of Silver Spring, MD, on a concealed weapons charge when they discovered brass knuckles in the drivers side door compartment. He was released on a summons.
