Critter Corner

TO THE UNTRAINED EYE, it looks like two guinea pigs snuggling. But look closer and...! It’s a Swedish Reindeer clog! That’s quite a critter. The real critter is behind the clog. His name is Julius (as in the Roman emperor) and lives with Julia (not the Roman emperor) Bradshaw in Lund, Sweden. Julia is a 2001 graduate of George Mason High School studying in Scandanavia. Aside from playing with his reindeer clogs, Julius enjoys behaving like an emperor, having carrots and cucumbers fed to him and squeels with joy when stroked by his owner. Julius’ grandparents are Falls Church residents Nigel and Asa-Britt Bradshaw and his aunt and uncle are fellow Mason grads, Jessica Bradshaw and Tom Erskine.
