Crime Report for Week Ending Februrary 16


  • Disorderly Conduct, George Mason High School, 7124 Leesburg Pk., Feb. 10, 9:50 a.m., police responded to the High School for a trespasser on the property. When police contacted the subject he became disorderly and verbally abusive. Police arrested a male, 19, of Vienna VA. for disorderly conduct.
  • Destruction of Property, 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., (parking lot), Feb. 10, between 6:57 p.m. and 7:01 p.m., unknown person(s) smashed out the rear window of a 2003 Toyota Four Runner.
  • Larceny, 200 blk. E. Fairfax St., Feb. 11, 3:45 a.m., police arrested Oliver Evanson Smith, 21, 6645 Hazel Lane, McLean, VA for stealing a rental information sign from in front of an apartment building.
  • Fraud-false Pretenses, Giant Food, 1230 W. Broad St., Feb. 11, 3:49 p.m., Giant Pharmacy called police to inform them that a woman had called in a fake prescription and that she was on the way in to pick it up. Police arrested a female, 49, of Falls Church, VA (county), for 2 counts of prescription fraud.
  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, 200 blk. E. Fairfax St., between Feb. 11, 11:00 a.m. and Feb. 12, 11:06 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a license plate off of a 2000 Mitsubishi.
  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, 100 blk. W. Jefferson St., between Feb. 12, 5:00 p.m. and Feb. 13, 9:48 a.m., unknown person(s) broke out the drivers side window of a 1999 Chevy 250 pick up truck and once inside removed a pair of leather gloves.
  • Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, 600 blk. Poplar Drive, between Feb. 14, 11:30 p.m. and Feb. 15, 12:05 p.m., unknown person(s) pried open the window of a 1993 Honda Civic and removed a CD player and 10 – 15 CD’s.
  • Larceny, Shoplifting, Syms, 1000 E. Broad St., Feb. 15, 4:00 p.m., police arrested John a male, 56, of Springfield, VA for trying to walk out of the store, with a new pair of shoes on his feet. His old shoes were found on a shelf in the shoe department.
  • Larceny, Shoplifting, Exxon, 400 W. Broad St., Feb. 16, 6:56 p.m., a male subject entered the store and stole a 40 oz. Bottle of beer and left without paying for it.
